Your adventure starts exactly like the film, with THE POLAR EXPRESS™ collecting your whole family from Spa Valley Railway to start your magical journey.
You will meet your favourite icons from the beloved movie, including the Conductor, dancing chefs, a mysterious ghost, and of course the magical Santa Claus himself. All of you (complete with your pyjamas for the authentic experience!) will experience gloriously immersive theatre on a train as you make your way slowly North.
As you venture forwards on your journey, you may experience unexpected Caribou related delays and other fantastical happenings, as well as having the beautiful original THE POLAR EXPRESS™ story shared with you by the talented chefs. Remember to savour your delicious cookie and warming hot chocolate!
Mr C will board the train and, if you’ve been good this year, you’ll receive the first gift of Christmas – a shiny sleigh bell from Santa’s sleigh, just like in the film and story. Your whole family will get to speak with Santa as hands you your first gift of Christmas
When you arrive back at Tunbridge Wells, there are yet more marvels. You can write a letter to Santa, see who in your family has been naughty or nice this year and check out the gift shop for souvenirs of your trip. THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride at Spa Valley Railway will be a truly wondrous Christmas adventure.
Pyjamas are encouraged as suitable attire – it adds to the magic of the experience – and this truly is magical!
We will leave Rayleigh Station at 12pm and picking up at Wickford (The Wick) at 12.20pm (Halls Corner) at 12.25pm then Billericay (South Green ) at 12.35pm and (sun Corner) at 12.40pm then finally Basildon Cherrydown East at 12.55pm
The Toilet will be available to use throughout your journey.
You can bring a picnic with you, but we do ask that no hot food is brought onto the coach – there is a sainsburys right next to our drop off and there is also food available once you are inside the Train Station.
Arriving at The Spa Valley Railway for around 2.15pm we will then make our way to the entrance so we are ready to board the 3.15pm TRAIN.
Once aboard the train the magic unfolds, everyone gets a hot chocolate and a cookie, while they watch the magic and everyone gets a magic bell from Father Christmas whilst on the train.
We should get back onto the Coach for around 5.15pm and we will head home.
Seats are in blocks of 8 as 4’s and 4’s on the Train. Therefore If you book as a 3, 5, 7 etc etc you will be in the same carriage, but may be seated adjacent or just behind each other.
Tickets are £99pp and include your return coach travel, your GOLDEN TICKET, a hot chocolate and cookie and your wonderful train ride which is fully immersive the epitome of the magic of Christmas.
I HAVE SPLIT THE PAYMENT OVER 3 MONTHS IF REQUIRED TO MAKE IT MORE AFFORDABLE – IF YOU DO WISH TO USE THIS THEN PLEASE PAY YOUR 1ST INSTALMENT AND THEN KEEP YOUR OWN REMINDER TO COME BACK TO THE WEBSITE TO PAY THE 2ND AND 3RD INSTALMENT EVERY 4 WEEKS.

The website also generates QR codes – THESE ARE NOT NEEDED. I will have your Golden tickets and you will be handed them as you board the coach.
